Haldimand Stewardship Council Inc. (HSC) is a not-for-profit community-based organization consisting of committed individuals active in responsible land and resource stewardship and education.
We have been active in Haldimand County since 1997, thanks to dedicated volunteer council members. Our members include farmers, woodlot landowners, business owners, students and other dedicated individuals who are knowledgeable and share an interest in local conservation, restoration and stewardship.
Our vision is to bring the community together to promote resource stewardship projects and education that benefits both the community & the environment of Haldimand County.

Interested in becoming a part of our volunteer Board of Directors?
Haldimand Stewardship Council (HSC) is looking for strategic board members to be a part of our volunteer Board of Directors. Interested applicants must live within Haldimand County and commit to a minimum two-year term. Director activities include:
attend monthly board meetings and participate on Board sub-committees (including frequent e-mail communication);
assist with financial governance and strategic planning; contribute actively to program development, execution and;
promote resource stewardship projects and education.
Previous board experience an asset.
